About the Orbit Baby G2 StrollerPlease note: We are only able to ship the Orbit Baby G2 Stroller to addresses within the United States.
The first stroller was designed by William Kent, a well-known British garden architect. Made in 1733 for the third Duke of Devonshire, this pram was shaped like a seashell and considered a great luxury reserved for posh families. It was basically a wheeled basket that was adorned with snake designs. The pram also had a harness so that it could be pulled by a goat.
A lot has changed since those goat-drawn baskets. Now, parents have a whole variety of strollers to choose from. There are sleek strollers built for running, tough strollers for all-terrain adventures, and nimble strollers for maneuvering through cafes and shoe stores. Whether you want your curious baby to gaze at you or the world, many strollers nowadays were designed to be both front- and rear-facing.
Well, even the most modern and innovative strollers are surpassed by the Orbit Baby G2 Stroller.
This revolutionary stroller offers parents the ultimate convenience and versatility. The special part of this stroller is the SmartHub™ base. This circular base lets you pivot the stroller seat 360 degrees, giving you unprecedented control over your child's environment. If you are in a small coffee shop, you can park the stroller next to you - but your baby doesn't need to face the back wall of the room. By simply using the squeeze latches, you can turn your baby so she faces you.
Has naptime crept up? No need to run home to the crib. Thanks to the 3DRotation™ feature, not only can you rotate your child but you can recline her as well. Using the same latch system, you can easily recline the seat in one beautiful and fluid motion.
In addition to the innovative rotate-and-recline interface, the Orbit Baby Stroller the people over at Orbit have designed it with QuadShock™ technology. This 4-wheel stroller suspension system will give your child a smooth ride every time. It even comes with no-pump tires made with lightweight and responsive EVA foam.
Give your child the best fabrics. This Orbit stroller seat is lined in orbitgreen™ Certified Fabric and is the first stroller to use eco-friendly fabrics and foams certified by Oeko-Tex Standard 100. This premium fabric is safe against delicate skin and will put your mind at ease.
The stroller frame is also very easy to fold, utilizing a one-handed twist-and-lift mechanism. Once you collapse the stroller, you can stand it upright. This is wonderful, especially if you have limited space and want to store it against the wall or inside a closet.
The removable Cargo Pod offers a handy and unique storage system. The Cargo Pod attaches to the stroller frame underneath the seat for on-the-go storage, and easily detaches so that you can tote your belongings along with you when you are away from your stroller, using the convenient shoulder strap.
Factor in the UV-blocking Paparazzi Shield™, a removable support bar and snack tray, built in cup holder, and extendable footrest, and it's clearly one of the most fabulous strollers on the market. Get the convenience of 360 degrees - trust Orbit to get you happily from place to place, store to store, and year to year in safety and style.
Features of the G2: - 3DRotation™ - Squeeze the side levers to rotate-and-recline in one fluid motion; forward-facing or parent-facing, upright or fully reclined - QuadShock™: our patent-pending 4-wheel stroller suspension gives a plush ride with no-pump tires made of lightweight and responsive EVA - orbitgreen™: Certified Fabric - The world's first stroller with all fabrics and foams certified clean by Oeko-Tex(R) Standard 100, ensuring they are easier on your baby's skin

Orbit Baby G2 Stroller Amazing stroller Boston, Ma
5.0 beans out of 5.0 beans An amazing strollerJune 14th, 2012 Pros: Easily Stowed, Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Set Up, Sturdy, Easy To Steer, Lightweight It's the most user friendly stroller that I found. Opens and closes easily. It's not bulky for a large stroller. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. You flagged this review Orbit Baby G2 Stroller Isabella's Mom Asheville, NC
3.0 beans out of 5.0 beans Poor WorkmanshipSeptember 1st, 2010 3 out of 4 people found this review helpful Pros: Comfortable Cons: Bulky, Flimsy I purchased this product as soon as it was available back in February and have already had 3 warranty issues. The first was a major issue of the front wheel falling off. It wasn't an issue of it falling off and you could fix it, it was just broken. I've noticed others have had this happen as well. Then the cargo pod when attached to the stroller (as it should be) and you fold the stroller to stow it, the boning inside of the pod pokes completely through the fabric. This has happened twice. Orbit Baby has great customer support and they have fixed these issues but let me tell you, the G2 is not the same quality as the G1. They have cut corners to save them money but still charge the same for the stroller. We only use the G2 a few times a month and take great care with it. We owned the G1 infant travel system and used it everyday for almost a year and never ever had any issues with it. When the G2 arrived in the box, brand new I could already see the inferior quality as compared to the G1. I do love the look of it and the sunshade and the fact that the seat reclines but if I keep having issues with it, that outweighs the pros. I'm so glad it has a 2 year warranty or otherwise I would try to get my money back due to the issues. No, I would not recommend this to a friend. You flagged this review
