Magic Beans is pleased to offer the Tilty Sippy Cup 7 Oz. 2-Pack, now in fun Red and Orange hues, a fun update to the ever-popular original Tilty Sippy Cups.
Sippy cups are like bikes with training wheels - they are meant to teach kids how to transition to the "real thing." The most important part of sippy cups, besides keeping the mess to a minimum, is encouraging kids to drink independently and learn the proper technique.
It gets complicated though, with classifications like leak-proof, spill-proof and drip-proof. You can find sippy cups with and without valves and with an array of different lids. Despite all these features, the problem of the "extreme bent neck" remains - to drink their juice, kids are doing near-backbends. Hmm. There is nothing natural about that. Why not teach them to drink the way we adults actually do?
So, you can imagine our delight when we found a sippy cup that was actually revolutionary - and no, not because of the cute designs or handles. The Tilty Sippy Cup is built with an internal angled wall that allows kids to drink without tipping the cup past half way. When you child uses a Tilty Sippy Cup, they are able to drink comfortably, even in strollers and car seats, and finish their drink completely more often. This brilliant design makes drinking easy and fun for kids and will encourage their independence. You'll be amazed at how seamless it is for Tilty cup users to transition to regular cups.
In addition to the great design, the construction of the Tilty Sippy Cup is meticulously safe and healthy. It is made of polypropylene that is free of BPA, PVC, and phthalates. And the clear design isn't just for seeing what's in the cup (though it's nice) - it contains no dyes, as pigments can have traces harmful materials. It holds 7 ounces of fluid and can be washed in the dishwasher using the top rack.
Seems like a great idea but they don't really stand up over time. The bottoms crack and create sharp edges. The company very nicely sent two more but still the same problem. Stuff also gets caught in the non-drink side when I put them in the dishwasher so they are a total pain.
