about the Refrigerator MagnetsGears are one of the greatest tools for teaching spatial reasoning and cause-and-effect to children. These come in a bright, sturdy plastic and have magnetic backs so young engineers-to-be can set up their creations on the fridge, allowing them to be on display for all to see. The gears have fun designs on their faces and one even has an on-off switch, to really set things in motion
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.

Our son loves them!

I got this for our son when he was about 20 months old, and he figured it out - and started loving it - right away. (Though it's pretty hard for him to turn the main piece off/on so we do that for him). It keeps him amused, though he does launch the pieces across the room on occasion. We're happy with the toy - only downside is that there's a clicking piece that's quite noisy - a pain when you're having dinner and trying to have a conversation. Otherwise - very cool gadget.
