PLEASE NOTE: The 2014 UPPAbaby Vista Piggyback Ride Along Board is NOT compatible with the 2015 UPPAbaby Vista Stroller.
With a new baby in the house, you might find yourself with a proud, older sib who wants nothing more than to feel like a “big kid”. Sure, he still drinks out of sippy cups and sleeps beside a plush giraffe, but he is exploring and likely enjoying his new role as a big brother. But it can be easy for him to feel left out of the loop as you hover over the baby.
When you are strolling around town in your UPPAbaby Vista Stroller, the fun and fast way to bring along both kids is to attach an UPPAbaby PiggyBack. All you need to do it attach it to the back of your Vista Stroller and your toddler can share the ride.
This growing family essential is made from eco-friendly, natural wood. The UPPAbaby PiggyBack has a super easy, one-time installment and can snap on and off. There is a non-skid surface to prevent any slipping and the PiggyBack can hold kids weighing up to 50 pounds.

Kid loves it; easy to attach; easy to fold up without carseat adaptor
Piggyback doesn't fold up when MaxiCosi adaptor attached; nothing for kid to hold on to.
Just got this for my 2013 Vista (I believe this version is compatible with both). It's great and my kid already loves it - super easy to attach and he really liked to ride along on it when we tested it out.
But when I attempted to fold it up, I found that I had to remove the Maxi Cosi adaptor (which I need for my carseat) before I could flip up the board. Not a deal breaker, but would have been good to know before I bought this.
Also, I found it to be a little awkward for my almost-2 year old to stand on the kickboard since there was nothing really for him to hold on to but the stroller handle (which was kind of wide for him) or the carseat itself. I think this will just take some getting used to.
Smooth ride, easy to put on/remove, folds up when not in use
When our newborn arrived I bought this for my 3 year old who is too big for the rumble seat. She loves the piggyback and thinks she is a big kid now. We take it for mile long walks and it seems to offer her a smooth ride. Even when going up the edge of a sidewalk she's able to stay on the piggyback without a problem or too much of a jolt. The board is small enough too that I don't kick it with my feat when walking and when she is not with us, you can flip the board up so that it's not in the way. We keep the stroller in the foyer of our condo building so flipping the piggyback up prevents the stroller from taking up more space. The best thing about the piggyback is that she can walk, stand, or sit in the main seat once our newborn can be put in the rumble seat. Great to have all these options.
