Pacifier/lovey that a 3 month old can hold

Pros:

Easy to locate in crib/diaper bag, cute, snuggleable, baby can hold it on his own

Cons:

plush/animal part doesn't detached for sanitizing

Wubanubs are an awesome product- this is our second time using them (2nd child) and it's totally worth having. For the first few weeks, we were misplacing pacifiers (gumdrops, avents) left and right, they'd roll around the crib and be impossible to find at night in the dark, etc. Super frustrating when you've got a wailing infant in your arms. This little guy is big and colorful enough to find, super cuddly, and acts like a lovey- our baby loves to wrap his arms around it when his sucking on it and falling asleep.

I wish you could detach the animal part from the pacifier, because right now we sterilize it by balancing the wubanub over the edge of a pot of boiling water so only the pacifier part gets submerged. It works, just always seems a bit risky. Apparently you can throw them in the wash with clothes, though I'm rarely willing to part with it for that long to have to wait for it to wash/ air dry since my little one naps with it during the day.

We recently ended up getting a 2nd (blue dino) so we'd have an extra around to wash/sanitize while the other's in use. They're not cheap, but in my opinion they are certainly nice to have and make my life a little easier!

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
