There is such thing as a superior sippy cup. The BOT Sippy Cup by Zoli is pretty close to perfect, with an innovative straw technology that moves towards the liquid whenever the cup is tilted, ensuring that kids get to drink every last drop.
The BOT Sippy Cup is designed with only a simple handle and lid to eliminate lost parts. Ever safe, the handle, lid, and base are made of polypropylene while the straw is made from food-grade silicone with a stainless steel weighted ball that helps guide the straw towards the liquid when the cup is tilted. The straw is almost solid with a few slits cut into it, meaning that liquid can easily be sucked out but spilling is minimized. With an easy to open and close lid that prevents spillage disasters, the BOT Sippy is the ultimate travel cup. Put it in your purse, on the seat of your car, or in the diaper bag without worry. This sippy is good until the last drop.
Too hard to use
My son is 8 months old and doesn't have the patience to suck on the straw long enough to get a drink. Even I had a hard time getting some liquid out. Maybe I need to train him on how to use a straw.
Easy to hold, great concept
Hard to clean, hard to drink from
My 7 month old tried this. I don't think he has the strength to drink from this straw. He does much better with a sippy cup.
easy for baby to use
not as easy to clean as a sippy cup
We tried a number of sippy cups with my 6 month old, but she just wasn't getting them. She would just chew on the spout and didn't get that she needed to tip the cup up to get water out. On the recommendation of a friend we tried the Zoli cup and she loves it. She just gets how to sip out of a straw and really loves to drink water out of it. The weighted straw is genius and the handles are easy for tiny hands.
my son likes it
LEAKS, not easy to clean
This is the only sippy cup my son would drink out of. The straw is very soft and it can drink everything from the cup- no waste. However, there are lots of drawbacks about this cup. First of all, it leaks all the time. It doesn't have a good seal and liquid would spill out no matter what I do. It also leaks out of the straw if I tighten the cup too tight due to increase of pressure. It is also difficult to clean the straw and I had to buy an brush, which comes with 2 extra straws, to clean the straw, another $8. I have already replaced the straw after less than 3 month of use. I would buy this cup again since my son only likes this cup.
Safe For Baby, Easy To Use, Portable, Easy To Clean
Discovered the Bot cup at the 1st Drool Baby Expo. It is a smart design as the straw bends and the weight helps to reach all the liquid (including if the cup is tipped up). Easiest clean ever, unscrew top and put it in the dishwasher, no parts to disassemble. I only use water in the cup as I don't want milk or juice to get trapped in there (even though I'm sure it'd wash out). Be sure not to tighten the top too hard as it'll create pressure and may leak out the top. Love the cover as it keeps the straw clean. Daughter LOVES this cup. After one year of use (a lot of use), I replaced the straw as my daughter had chewed the top of the straw. I always get asked about this cup when we are at play groups. It's unique so that I can tell which cup is my daughters. All the kids usually want her's though! Only downside is that it doesn't fit in every cup holder (because of the handles).
Easy To Use, Portable, Compact, Safe For Baby
My daughter was having a very hard time transitioning from a sippy cup to a straw cup and this one did the trick! The weighted magnet worked magic as she would always tilt back to try to drink (as she did with a sippy cup). The straw flow gives her just the right amount in a sip (she would dibble a lot with other cups). Lastly, the cup rarely leaks! I own 3!
