Magic Beans ( is New England's top retail baby gear and toy store. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, honest, bright, and hardworking Assistant Store Manager to join all of our retail locations.


Our store teams are quirky, fun, smart and love to sell and help customers. We love giving over-the-top experiences to our customers, and would love for you to join our team. Don't know much about toys or baby gear? Don't worry, we'll train you!


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Giving customers an outstanding experience by ensuring every customer is energetically acknowledged, and are impressed by your outstanding product knowledge.
  • Represent the company brand and culture with coworkers and customers at all times.
  • Develop lasting customer relationships by getting to know customers and making great recommendations.


Training & Management

  • Work with Senior Management on operational and sales goals.
  • Train and develop team members to maximize their potential and performance.
  • Create schedules according to sales and traffic.
  • Track and submit payroll hours bi-weekly.



  • Operate computerized cash register, utilize multi-line phone system, gift wrap, maintain computerized inventory, and additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain the appearance and efficiency of the store by stocking and replenishing merchandise, following visual merchandising guidelines, and performing general housekeeping duties.


Job Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and/or twisting for up to eight hours or more per day.
