SO, WHAT’S ON OUR LIST?

Our Best Of 2019 list has four categories: full size strollers, midsize strollers, lightweight travel strollers, and jogging strollers. Full size strollers are your basic everyday strollers: sturdy and dependable, but a bit too laden-down for exercise or on-the-go travel. Midsize strollers act as a happy medium, more portable than full size strollers, but not small enough to fit into an airplane overhead bin. Lightweight travel strollers, by contrast, are perfect for weaving through urban foot traffic or airport lines, but lack all-inclusive features. Finally, jogging strollers are for all of the athletes out there; with a jogging stroller, you can feel free to take your tot out to enjoy the sights while you run, but remember that these strollers are on the heavier side in order to promote stability.

Each type of stroller has its pros and cons, and it’s important to consider them all when choosing your family’s stroller. FULL SIZE STROLLERS

We have a whopping nine strollers in the running for best full size stroller of 2019, and each one features state-of-the-art design and details. The Nuna Mixx, UPPAbaby Cruz, UPPAbaby Vista, Cybex Priam3, Agio Z4, Bugaboo Fox, Bugaboo Donkey2, Nuna Demi Grow, and Silver Cross Coast strollers all have names straight out of a sci-fi novel, but there’s nothing fictional about their great quality. While some are strictly single-seat strollers (Nuna Mixx, UPPAbaby Cruz, Cybex Priam, Agio Z4, and Bugaboo Fox) and others can hold two tots (UPPAbaby Vista, Bugaboo Donkey2, Nuna Demi Grow, and Silver Cross Coast), each of these strollers comes equipped with a variety of canopy styes (Peek-a-boo windows! Extra ventilation!) and luxurious upholstering, along with a variety of functional details specific to each stroller.

MIDSIZE STROLLERS

The three midsize strollers on our Best of 2019 list are some of the most adaptable strollers on the market. The Bugaboo Bee5, Cybex Mios2, and Nuna Tavo each feature unique elements that make them stand out from the crowd (adjustable seat sizing, super-strong frame design, and a Dream Drape that blocks out light for on-the-go napping, respectively), and the full-recline seat option for newborns makes them winners in our book.

LIGHTWEIGHT TRAVEL STROLLERS

Are you and your baby the jet-setting type? Look no further than the BabyZen YoYo+, UPPAbaby Minu, Bugaboo Ant, and Maclaren Quest Arc strollers. While only the Bugaboo Ant is approved for storage in ALL airplane overhead spaces (the BabyZen YoYo+ and the UPPAbaby Minu can fit in most overhead spaces, though not all), all four of these strollers are light, easy to fold up and store, and perfect for exploring new destinations at home or abroad.

JOGGING STROLLERS

The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 rounds out our Best Strollers of 2019 list. With twelve-inch wheels in the back and a single six-inch wheel in the front, the BOB Revolution Flex 3 provides the utmost stability. Plus, the back wheels are removable for easier storage! With features like these, it’s no surprise that the BOB Revolution Flex 3 joins the Thule Urban Glide 2 as some of our favorite jogging strollers.
