Bugaboo Cameleon Stroller vs UPPAbaby Vista Stroller 2018

At the intersection of luxury and function are the Bugaboo Cameleon and UPPAbaby Vista Strollers. Whether you’re a longtime stroller fanatic or just beginning your search for your first set of wheels, you’ve come to the right place. Let’s compare two of the most ubiquitous city strollers of 2018.

As of late, Bugaboo is not making any 2018 changes to their Cameleon Stroller. It’s the same iconic, luxurious, and maneuverable stroller with adjustable suspension and a near-perfect push.

The UPPAbaby Vista 2018 will boast some updates in style and function. Moving forward, all models will feature either brown or black REACH Certified leather accents on both the handlebar and belly bar. The 2018 Vista also features a new extended bassinet. UPPAbaby extended the length of the Vista bassinet’s sleeping area by 6.35cm. They changed the dimensions of the bassinet fabric and mattress pad while still keeping the same frame dimensions!

From day one, you’ll be able to stroll with your newborn in both strollers. However the bassinet function on the Bugaboo Cameleon and the UPPAbaby Vista differ a bit. The Vista comes with a completely separate bassinet, while the Cameleon comes with bassinet fabric. Essentially, when you purchase a Cameleon, you receive one seat frame and 2 fabric sets. One fabric set creates a stroller seat, and the other creates a bassinet. So if you’re looking to reduce waste and save some storage space, the Cameleon might be the choice for you. The UPPAbaby Vista is a single-to-double stroller, and it can turn into a double stroller with the purchase of a RumbleSeat. The Bugaboo Cameleon is a single stroller only. The Vista could be a great choice if you’re planning on having two children in quick succession, but we definitely suggest going with the stroller you’re head over heels for.
