Delicious mocktails for moms-to-be | non-alcoholic recipes

If you’ve ever been to Drool Baby Expo, you know that we’re big mocktail fans. They keep moms-to-be in on the tiny umbrella action and make for a fun refreshment at baby showers. Per usual, Honest Tea will be at Drool on September 14 to whip you up their own specialty mocktails! But, in the meantime, here are some fun non-alcoholic recipes that caught our eye.

Cuddles on the Beach (mixthatdrink.com)

The name itself earned this mocktail a mention.

• 3 ounces cranberry juice
• 2 ounces grapefruit juice
• 2 ounces peach nectar

Just shake and serve! Tiny umbrella strongly recommended.

Faux Champagne (parenting.com)

Raise a toast to your baby on the way.

• Ginger ale
• White grape juice
• Pineapple or orange juice
• Frozen grapes

Combine equal parts ginger ale, white grape juice, and pineapple or orange juice. Garnish with frozen grapes!

Nojito (mixthatdrink.com)

It’s not the real thing, but the taste is pretty close to it.

• 12-14 small mint leaves or 6-8 large ones
• 1 ounce fresh lime juice
• ¾ tablespoon rum extract
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar
• 4 ounces club soda or Sprite

Put the mint leaves, lime juice, and brown sugar in a tall cocktail glass and muddle the leaves. Fill the glass with ice cubes and add the rum extract and club soda. Stir to mix up the sugar. Garnish with another mint sprig.

Virgin Watermelon Margarita (townandcountrymag.com)

Pregnant or not, this sounds like an ultra-refreshing poolside companion.

• 1 medium seedless watermelon, cut into chunks
• ½ cup fresh lime juice
• 4 tsp agave
• ⅓ cup sparkling water

In a blender, puree enough watermelon chunks so that you have 4 cups of watermelon puree. Add lime juice and agave and mix again. Pour into 4 cups. Top with sparkling water.
