Driven to distraction
When I had my first baby, I dreaded car trips like nothing else. Especially if I was driving. It felt like I was transporting a ticking time bomb, and if she exploded into tears, I was assured of a near nervous breakdown (or collision). I would desperately try to soothe her from the front seat while keeping an eye on the road, and ultimately looking for the first convenient place to pull over. I was at her mercy, and often the thought of taking her out made me break into a cold sweat.
Fortunately, it wasn’t long before I discovered the Clip n’ Go Musical Mobile from Tiny Love. I would wind it up and it would play “How Much is that Doggie in the Window” while three smiling characters revolved slowly above my daughter’s face. That thing saved my life. Or nearly killed me, if I consider all the times I reached back to wind it while I was driving. But as long as that doggie was in the window, I traveled in peace.
Now, thanks to grateful feedback from hundreds of parents like me, Tiny Love has dramatically expanded their in-car entertainment product line. One of my favorite new products is the Sea Deluxe Fun Mobile, which performs a sound & light show complete with bouncing sea animals. The best part? The remote control, which mounts on the driver’s sun visor. Pure genius.
For rear-facing use only. Automobile seats must have removable headrests for proper installation.
