Drool Baby Expo is almost here: meet the locals!
DROOL BABY EXPO
APRIL 7, 2016
3PM – 9PM

At Magic Beans, we specialize in equipping you with all of the products that make your parenting journey easier, and hopefully more fun, too. At Drool Baby Expo, you can see all of these products in one place, try them out, chat with their creators, and do all of your comparison shopping in one night (all while sipping elegant mocktails).
However, we’re only one part of a wider community that you’ll need to welcome your new arrival into the world and keep them healthy and happy once they’re here. And since we can’t resist the temptation to be all things to all people, every year we invite dozens of businesses in that wider community to be a part of Drool.
This way, when you’re done comparison-shopping for strollers and car seats, you can explore the possibilities around cloth diapering with the gals from Diaper Lab; learn about adorable personalized products from Tiny Tags and Butterscotch Blankees; compare the gorgeous baby photography of Danielle Bustamante, Bobbie Bush, Denise Carty, Beth Ann Fricker, and more; explore childcare and educational options for your kids with the Boston JCC, Cultural Care Au Pairs, and MyGym Boston; and explore baby food and health and wellness products from Plum Organics, Nurturme, Wellements Baby, Happy Family Brands, and others. And that’s just scratching the surface – local brands and services fill up an entire huge room at Drool!
Here’s a closer look at a few more of our friends who you’ll be meeting at Drool Baby Expo:
Erzo Foods
Vitamin supplements often smell and taste pretty rank, and prenatal vitamins are no exception – an additional insult to a tummy that, especially in the early months of pregnancy, is already not feeling at its best.
So instead of choking down horse pills (and then struggling to keep them down), why not eat a nice little whole grain biscuit instead? They’re available in tasty Oat, Ginger, Apple Cinnamon, and Strawberry Greek Yogurt varieties, and reviewers say they taste good and calm your tum, too. And why not dip them in Nutella? You deserve it, mama!
But don’t take the reviewers’ words for it – come to Drool and try them out! Eating is believing, right?
Boston NAPS, LLC
The transition from the hospital to full-time parenting can be stressful – babies are demanding, and you’re tired and still healing from giving birth. Don’t go it alone: the team of RNs at this private duty nursing company can deploy one of their seasoned, compassionate professionals to help you make it through!
NAPS offers a wide variety of other services as well, including prenatal education (in a classroom setting or one-on-one sessions), First Aid & CPR classes, in-home lactation visits, breastfeeding support groups, and more. Don’t see what you need on their webpage? They’ll help you custom-design a package of services that fits your family.
Functional Design
Let’s get ORGANIZED! City families have to do a lot with limited space, and that has a tendency to turn into clutter, which can make you feel cranky and helpless. Why not outsource the organizing to a pro?
Melissa Henderson McStravick specializes in getting problem areas from kitchens to closets under control, and bringing her in to optimize your space before your baby arrives will save you so much stress. Given that Melissa is a mom of four, she definitely knows her way around a nursery!
Robotti and Rosa Photography
Melissa Robotti and Ali Rosa have one of the most gorgeous studios we’ve ever seen, bathed in cool natural light and decorated with incredible precision. Every curtain, every piece of furniture, every throw pillow, lamp, vase, and teddy bear is handpicked to create an atmosphere that will turn out extraordinary photos.
This dedication to the art of photography shows in the breathtaking images they create, and in the huge stack of five-star reviews on their Facebook page. Local parents say they’re total pros with babies and kids, and that their photography sessions are lots of fun too!
