FAQ: Nuna Pipa Lite Infant Car Seat

Now that you’re more acquainted with the record-breaking Nuna Pipa Lite, we know you have lots of questions. These are the most popular questions we’ve received from Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. We’ll be updating our FAQ as more questions (and more answers) come in!

What strollers are compatible with the Nuna Pipa Lite?

Check out the video below from our YouTube Channel! So far, we’ve found that the Pipa Lite connects securely to the following strollers: The Nuna Mixx2, Bugaboo Cameleon, UPPAbaby Vista and Cruz, Baby Jogger City Select, and Babyzen Yoyo+.

Is the original Pipa getting discontinued?

No. You’ll still have your choice of the original Pipa and the Pipa Lite.

Does “no added flame retardants” mean the seat isn’t flame retardant at all?

Nope. It just means that the materials they used on the Lite are naturally flame retardant. Nuna didn’t need to add any extra chemicals to make those materials flame retardant.

When can I get it?

Our Nuna Pipa Lites will begin to ship on the last week of August 2017!

What colors does it come in?

The Pipa Lite comes in Fog and Ebony. Check out the colors here.

Can I still install this base without LATCH?

Yes. Although the Pipa Lite can only be installed with the base and not a seat belt, you can install the base itself with a seat belt.
