JPMA Round-up, Day 1

Trade shows are always exhausting, no matter how big or small they are. So although my eyelids are closing against my will, I’ll give a quick recap of the first day. This is actually the very last show JPMA will do, as they are essentially merging with the more popular ABC Children’s Expo which takes place every September in Las Vegas. The JPMA show has been losing steam for years, so it’s not a surprise, but I will miss having an excuse to visit Disney World once a year.

This time, I left my husband home with the kids and I’m traveling with a crew from the store. I feel like I’m missing my other half (which I guess I am), but we’re having a good time nonetheless. The show is quite small, and I covered about 90% of the vendors today. But although there aren’t many vendors here, there are a lot of really interesting new products. I’ll try to recap until I fall asleep on my keyboard.
