Preparing for Labor Day
When I was pregnant for the first time, Eli and I took an amazing class in the Bradley method of childbirth. Our teacher hosted a class reunion for all her students every year on Labor Day.
Get it? Labor Day? Labor?
I’d never thought of it that way before, but I loved it. Labor Day isn’t exactly fraught with meaning like some other holidays, and, well, going through labor is a lot of work (especially sans epidural). Why not celebrate that too?
So this year, we’re teaming up with Skip*Hop to do a contest. We’re looking for your best “labor day” advice for expectant moms. Check out the contest and enter before Monday at midnight to win a $200 prize package, courtesy of Skip*Hop.
