Spotlight on Holiday Toys 2021

In a year full of the unexpected, despite all that life has thrown at us, the Christmas season is still on its way. It’ll be important for everyone to keep a semblance of regularity, so whether you’re going to keep it all in your immediate family or Zoom with the extended family, we have a great assortment of toys for kids of all ages (and adults too!) to keep everyone happy and entertained.

Infants!

For the young ones we have an awe-sinp[ring array of toys meant to teach, improve dexterity, and entertain! My absolute favorite on-the-go toy, the Hape Stay Put Rattle Set, is a great way to entertain kids while out, or at any table! 

Haba’s Rainbow Sun Clutch Toy is a great option for kids to flex their new grasping muscles, all natural wood and water based paints make Haba some of the safest infant toys out there. The easy to grab spindles, combined with the rattling center offer a great way to build up strength and dexterity for young ones. 

The Plan Toys Play Gym is an amazing toy bar for babies during tummy time, as well as the whole time they’re crawling! You can attach your own toys in addition to the dangling eco and baby friendly wood spaceship and planet already attached. Corolle’s Babipouce collection is another amazing toy for babies. Toddlers!

We have some amazing bath toys to help keep toddlers entertained in the tub! Corolle’ Bebe Bath Alyzee is an amazing waterproof doll for all the kids who can’t put their toys down before bath time. 

Outside of bath time, If you have a little musician on your hands Hape makes an amazing wood music set! High quality finishes make it safe for kids 3 and up, it has all of the instruments needed to make a good ruckus! 

The Haba Kullerbu is also a great option for toddlers, offering a wholly unique system designed like a train set, with unique cars that run along the tracks. Some of the cars make a very satisfying zoom sound when pushed or pulled in either direction.

Preschool+

Do you want to encourage kiddo’s green thumb? Check out Plant a Pizza Garden! An amazing preschool toy, it allows you to grow all the things you may need to make your own homemade pizza. Basil, peppers, oregano and tomato seeds round out your pizza, and you’ll be able to try your hand at making your own dough with kiddo or buy some pre-prepared.

If you’re trying to get everyone involved, even across the country, there’s always room for Charades! The goofiest, simplest game sure to make the holiday season more colorful. Our version even requires no reading! So kids of all ages can try and act out the clues. 

For those more artistically inclined, check out Studio in a Box! It gives you everything you need to start sketching, painting and coloring with your imagination.

If you want a more pointed project Kid Made Modern also offers this amazing Make Your Own Trading Cards set, for kids who love Pokemon or Magic (or even their younger siblings who are fascinated by their sibling’s collection). And last but not least, we’ve got amazing STEM toys for all ages! Lego is a great option all year round for kids who love to build, but for those who want to add a little more science to it, we suggest trying the Engino Netwon’s Laws set. For young scientists, we have the amazing Thames and Kosmos Botany Science Kit.
