Tax Free? Sounds good to me.
The Massachusetts state senate will be voting this week on whether to approve a Tax Free Holiday for the weekend of August 14-15 2010. Except for 2009, Massachusetts has had a Tax Free Holiday every August since our first store opened in 2004. It’s a great gift from the Commonwealth to the people and businesses in this state, and we’re really hoping it will happen this year.
The House of Representatives already voted yes by a landslide earlier this month, so we’re optimistic. Just in case, we’re calling our local State Senator to ask her to vote in favor of the Massachusetts Tax Free Holiday for 2010. If you’d like to do the same, you can click here to find and contact your senator – it’s the beauty of democracy.
