Liquid-Filled Teether Recall
The First Years is dedicated to providing parents with safe, high-quality products. In line with this mission, we have issued a voluntary recall of six liquid-filled teethers sold between July 2005 and January 2006 due to possible bacterial contamination. The liquid inside the teethers may contain pseudomonas aeruginosa and pseudomonas putida which can cause serious illness in children if the teether is punctured and the liquid from the teether is ingested.
Consumers should stop using the teethers immediately.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

If you have purchased one of these, please click here to read instructions for how to return your teether to the company. They will send back a new one, as well as a free gift.
