How Are The UPPAbaby Cruz V2 and Bugaboo Lynx Similar?

   The Bugaboo Lynx and UPPAbaby Cruz V2 have a lot in common, which is why so many parents struggle to decide between them. Both feature leather detailing and sleek frames, giving them an elevated high-end look. They both accommodate a child of up to 50 pounds in the seat, and the seat can be either world-facing or parent-facing with full recline capabilities in either position. Large wheels make for a smooth ride down gravel and cracked sidewalk while suspension helps absorb shock from any bumps in the road you come across. 

   If you and your partner are different heights, fear not! Both the UPPAbaby Cruz V2 and Bugaboo Lynx have height-adjustable handlebars so both of you can stroll comfortably. Made with high-grade aerospace aluminum, the frame can withstand years of everyday use on rough roads and will last for many years to come. It’s compatible with the Bugaboo Comfort Wheeled Board+ to allow an older child to sit or stand on the back of the stroller, accommodating your growing family (or playdates!). The wheels of the Bugaboo Lynx are slightly larger than the wheels of the UPPAbaby Cruz V2 and the wheelbase is shorter, giving it a better push and more agility in tight spaces. 

   The Bugaboo Lynx is compatible with the Bugaboo Turtle car seat without adapters and many other car seats with the use of Maxi Cosi adapters. It weighs only 20.7 pounds compared to the Cruz V2’s 25.5 pounds, so it is easier to transport it in and out of the car or up stairs if the need arises.

Features of the Cruz V2

   The UPPAbaby Cruz V2 boasts one of the largest storage baskets of any single stroller, allowing you to carry 30 pounds of extra belongings with you compared to the 22 pound storage capacity of the Bugaboo Lynx. The adjustable canopy has two mesh peek-a-boo windows for additional ventilation on those hot summer days, keeping your child cool and comfortable. One-handed telescopic handlebar and toddler seat recline mechanisms make for slightly easier day-to-day adjustments. 

   The bassinet can be used to make the stroller newborn ready and is overnight sleep safe when used with the UPPAbaby bassinet stand. The UPPAbaby Cruz V2 is easily transformed into a travel system using the Mesa infant car seat with no adapters or with a wide range of car seats using adapters. UPPAbaby also makes an infant snugseat that makes the toddler seat appropriate for use with babies who can’t sit up on their own yet.

   When folded the UPPAbaby Cruz V2 is narrower than the Bugaboo Lynx, making it a better candidate if you are planning to store it in an entryway or closet.
