Whenever a new iteration of a stroller comes out, we at Magic Beans have just one question in mind: how does it compare to the previous version? The UPPAbaby Vista V2 2020 is no exception. We loved the UPPAbaby Vista 2019, and are super excited to see how the new-and-improved version will stand up to its predecessor. Let’s take a look, shall we?

UPPABABY VISTA V2 2020 VS. UPPABABY VISTA 2019: DIFFERENCES

Right off the bat, it’s clear that the Vista V2 has a leg-up on the Vista 2019 when it comes to seating. The stroller seat for the Vista V2 has a higher back and deeper footrest than the Vista 2019, making it far more comfortable for your child (especially if they’re going through a growth spurt!) The Vista V2 also has a five-point, no re-thread harness and an extra-large zipper-extendable canopy, protecting your baby from all possible hazards

Finally, the Vista V2 has more advanced accessories than the Vista 2019. The V2’s large underseat basket has built-in pocket for the stroller’s Rain Shield, and will be available in a new palette of colors. Another improvement that the Vista V2 has when compared to the Vista 2019 is all-wheel suspension and soft tires, making for a smoother stroll. The Vista V2 also has new visual indicators on the front wheel locks to let you know when your stroller’s wheels are securely locked (or not!), allowing you to be more confident in the functioning of your stroller’s mechanics.

With all these improvements in the Vista V2, is there any reason to keep the Vista 2019 in the stroller game? Don’t switch allegiances quite yet! The Vista 2019 is available now, while the Vista V2 won’t be on the market until February. Plus, the Vista 2019 is a tried-and-tested stroller, while the Vista V2 will not be available for a test drive until its release early next year.
