The UPPAbaby RIDGE Running Stroller Has Arrived!

The UPPAbaby RIDGE jogging stroller is a sleek, all-terrain stroller made from tough materials that can handle any weather, and we’re thrilled to have gotten a sneak peek. What Is the UPPAbaby RIDGE Running Stroller? 

The UPPAbaby RIDGE features two 16 inch wheels on the back and one 12 inch wheel on the front made from high performance foam and rubber. They aren’t filled with air, which prevents flats and blowouts, keeping you running longer. This stroller also features a pivoting front wheel that can be positioned facing towards the stroller or away from it for premiere maneuverability. Facing the stroller, the wheel brings added stability when traversing ice and snow, and facing away from the stroller, the wheel ensures smooth sailing while running. Easy to use, color-coded foot brakes and a convenient handbrake allow for optimum control, while the high caliber disc brakes can stop on a dime. 

Can I Use the UPPAbaby RIDGE with My Infant? 

Unlike some other running strollers on the market, the UPPAbaby RIDGE is compatible with a bassinet. Simply remove the fabric of the seat, snap any UPPAbaby bassinet into the stroller, and you’re ready to go! It’s compatible with the bassinet from the Vista or the Cruz.

To strap in your car seat, just grab adapters for the Mesa or maxi cosi adapters for a car seat like the NUNA Pipa. Of course, you shouldn’t run with an infant in your stroller, and you should always check with your pediatrician before running with your child. However, the UPPAbaby RIDGE'S seat safely accommodates children from three months old all the way up to 55 pounds, and features a comfortable recline for napping. 

What Are the Features of the UPPAbaby RIDGE? 

The UPPAbaby RIDGE running stroller comes in three colors: Bryce, a classic white, Jake, a charcoal, and Reggie, a slate blue. It also comes with a water bottle holder, a canopy pocket with a headphone opening for your cell phone, and a roomy, zippered lower basket with Velcro-secured pockets. Double peekaboo windows in the canopy maximize air ventilation and keep babies cool while they ride.

There are a number of optional accessories parents can choose from as well, including a removable bumper bar, performance rain shield, dishwasher-safe snack tray, and a piggyback that holds children up to 55 pounds. Best of all, the UPPAbaby RIDGE folds down easily and stands on its own like most UPPAbaby strollers, making storage that much easier. At just over 29 pounds, it’s easily transportable and can fit in the back of a car.
