Nuna Nuna Mixx2 Stroller 2017/2018 in Caviar

About the Nuna Mixx2 Stroller 2017/2018

From drool to diapers, from teething to tantrums, there can be a lot about caring for those little ones that doesn’t always feel very luxurious. Let’s face it – some days, even all the coffee in the world doesn’t adequately compensate for waking up six times during the night, navigating a world-class temper tantrum in the grocery store, or cleaning up a sippy cup of milk whose contents were spilled all over the couch (again).

When you’re frazzled and sleep deprived, it helps to know that there are some things you don’t need to worry about – like a stroller that can handle the workload of a day immersed in baby or toddler activities. The Nuna Mixx2 2017/2018 stroller is there to save the day – and even to help things feel a little bit luxurious in the process!

If you’re looking for an everyday stroller that’s great from the newborn stage straight through toddlerhood, the Nuna Mixx2 has it all:

 • The Nuna Mixx2 includes car seat adapters compatible with the Nuna Pipa infant car seat, making an easy-to-use travel system. The cozy melange plush knit stroller seat boasts a full recline, with a leg rest rotates upward as well, making the seat suitable for a newborn, and even giving older kiddos a comfy nap.

 • The Nuna Mixx2 folds easily, all in one piece, for easy storage or loading into the car. It automatically locks closed to keep it from unfolding while you lift it. And when it’s time to use it again, the Mixx2 unfolds with one hand, making it a snap to set up. Added bonus: while folded, the Mixx2 can be pulled along behind you like a rolling suitcase, giving you easy options from getting here to there.

 • The wheels on the Nuna Mixx2 2017/2018 stroller have undergone an upgrade; they have a sleek black-and-chrome styling, and the front wheels are larger in diameter (7.5”), making it easier to navigate uneven city sidewalks.

 • The Mixx2 stroller has a generously sized canopy with integrated mesh panels that allow for excellent airflow while still protecting baby from the sun. The double-quilted peached poly fabric canopy lining gives it a stylish, finished look.

 • The height-adjustable handlebar is a great feature for taller parents and caregivers. The handlebar can be adjusted from 38” to 42”, making it easy to customize. The style of the soft rubber handlebar padding has also been updated to have the look and feel of hand-sewn leather.

 • The under-seat basket of the Nuna Mixx2 is also a major feature. It is huge – making it fantastic for shopping trips or just toting around the daily necessities for baby.

In addition to all of these features, the Nuna Mixx2 2017/2018 stroller also includes a rain cover, a one-touch rear braking system, removable arm bar, and a fashionable black matte stroller frame. The Mixx2 stroller is a smart buy, a fabulous mix of form and function.

Great stroller, with a few user issues- would likely return if I could

Pros:

Versatile, great storage, easily maneuverable, baby can lay flat, doesn't come with cot, large sun/wind shade

Cons:

Handle sewn with rough cord, wheels not as all terrain as wished, no own brand ride on board for sibling, limited accessories

We upgraded our stroller for our move to a large city. We needed larger wheels and versatile seating for our 1 yr old , plus something for our older child to ride on should she grown tired or we are in congested areas.

We've now had the stroller for over 6 weeks and use it daily. We had to purchase an aftermarket brand sibling board. It attaches well, but causes the need to have odd footfalls and uncomfortable body positioning on the parent. I wonder if this could have been resolved with an own brand riding board?

The extending handle is very nice and makes walking without the sibling board comfortable for taller parents. When fully extended my husband feels it flex's a tad more than he would like, making turning more challenging. The handle itself is comfortable except for rather rough and wire feeling threading on the underside. I noticed my fingertips feel uncomfortable and even a tad raw after using for long periods of time. I'm hoping the stitching becomes less stiff over time.

The buckle for the baby is a bit of a challenge to get all connected and in place, whether or not your baby it a bucking bronco at the moment. The should straps have to thread thru the lap belt then clip and it easily comes apart while trying to clip into the buckle. It is very easy to undo for us parents, not easy enough for the baby though.

So far the wheels and shocks have been great and have done well on the different gravel, brick, stone and natural paths/roads in our new city home. However, with a light dusting of snow, the front wheels can collect the snow and slush, gathering it in the top of the wheel which locks them up. We are unable to knock out the ice/slush due to the shape of the wheel cavity. We are so disappointed by this issue and would exchange the stroller for another brand due to this alone.

We do not use a car, but if we did on the daily and had to take this in and out, it was be a tad heavy for car use.

We've like the ability to turn our baby to face us or face out, the canopy and the comfort of the ride for our baby. We also really love that we didn't have to pay for a stroller with a baby bassinet as our child was 1 when we bought this and did not need the cot.

Really wish it did better in the snow!

Not Perfect But I Still LOVE It!

Pros:

Maneuverability, tons of storage, sturdy, easy fold/open, reversible seat

Cons:

A few sunshade issues

I've had this stroller for 7 months. If you had asked me 7 months ago I wouldn't have said a single negative thing about it. It's very well made, so easy to fold/open, steers like a dream even with one hand, and my little one (2 y/o) is very happy and comfortable in it. I travel a lot and I load our Mixx2 down with purses, diaper bags, toys, jackets, etc. and it handles it all like a champ. The reversible seat is great for days when my little one wants to face me as well as for days when turning him around keeps the wind and sun off his face.

But, Sheena's review does accurately describe the problem I'm starting to have with the sunshade. I didn't notice it so much at first, but now it tends to sort of retract itself a little. And I have a few other minor sunshade complaints. If you have the sunshade folded back, it can get snagged on the handle when you try to recline the seat, making it hard to do a nice smooth recline and I have sometimes woken my little one up while trying to recline him. Also, the very end piece is pretty thick material (plastic inside the fabric?). It has manged to get a little misshapen from being pressed down when the stroller is folded and now curves downward, hitting my little one on the top of his head. It zips on so, for now, I removed it and can, hopefully, bend it back into shape. To prevent it, I would recommend removing it when folding the stroller.

All that being said, I still love this more than any other stroller I have had and that's a lot of strollers because I am a baby gear junkie! I would buy it again in a heartbeat!!

It's Ok!

Pros:

Fits nicely in my trunk, Easy to open and close, Overall look is very prettyp>
Cons:

Canopy does not stay fully extended & Sits too lowp>

Now that I have had this stroller for 4+ months I feel that I can write a review on my true experience, and not just my initial thought by looking at it. p>
Just looking at this stroller I love it, but using for more then a test drive in the store I wouldn't order it again. p>
All the product videos were great to watch and they're right...the stroller moves/turns great, easy to open and close, the basket is great and there's even a couple pockets to store stuff if needed. p>
BUT...the canopy not fully staying open is enough to drive my husband and I crazy. In all the pictures of this stroller the canopy is open to the max but this is only in pictures. When the stroller is in the lye down position, and baby is about to fall asleep, the stroller hits a pebble then canopy snaps back...baby wakes up or there's that extra bit of sun on baby. p>
Also, now thinking about the future, there is no attachment if we were to have another baby soon. For the price of the stroller it would be nice if there was an option to buy an attachment to fit a second baby or toddler to stand.p>

Amazing quality

Pros:

Easy to put together, very smooth push, beautiful

I'm in love! I just put it together and it was incredibly simple with easy to follow instructions. It helped that I watched all the Magic Beans videos on this stroller so I had a good idea of how few pieces snapped together and how the stroller folds and unfolds once put together. The video reviews are very accurate! I'm very happy with this purchase :)
