Day 14 – BOB Revolution Stroller

BOB Revolution StrollerHere’s some irony to start your day. With my first baby, I tried 12 different strollers before her first birthday. And I didn’t like any of them. I started Magic Beans to help parents avoid making the same mistakes I had made, and find the right stroller (or two) to fit their lifestyle – on the first try. With my second baby, I did a lot better. I was in double stroller territory, and extremely busy with the new business. I was basically practicing what I preached. But with Zev, we regressed. Choosing one stroller from all the great models we carry was impossible. So we have four. But the difference between then and now is that I adore all four of these strollers. Today’s giveaway, the BOB Revolution, is part of my “collection.”

During the winter, the BOB was the only stroller that could handle snowy sidewalks with any semblance of grace. During the summer, when we spend our weekends on the Cape, the BOB is our go-to stroller for the sandy paths. And it goes without saying that on the mornings that I’m motivated enough to take my son out for a run, the BOB makes it enjoyable. Or at least bearable. It’s so nice to push, easy to fold. It’s like a well-behaved Labrador Retriever – a wonderful, reliable companion for all your active pursuits. Enter now.

  1. It was your wonderful staff at the Brookline store (and the test drive) that helped us decide to buy the BOB for our son. My husband, son, and I absolutely love it and couldn’t be happier. But I’m also curious — what are the other strollers in your collection of four favorite strollers?

  2. Ha, good question. I have the Orbit Infant System, a Stokke Xplory, and a Bugaboo Bee, in addition to the BOB. I use them all on a regular basis, believe it or not. 🙂 I wouldn’t say these are necessarily my only favorites, but I can’t justify having more. If I had unlimited space and no conscience about it whatsoever, I would also have a Mountain Buggy Swift and a Maclaren.
