Sheri and Isaac go to Red Castle

Red Castle CarrierAlthough we have not yet decided to carry the Red Castle strollers that will be available in the US, we were curious to check out their booth. Inside, we found some gorgeous stroller and car seat covers that will be very nice in the winter. We also met the Red Castle baby carrier, which is already selling in the US. It’s actually received some awards, and I’ve been on the fence about whether or not to carry it. The carrier comes with a DVD, and as far as I’m concerned, if you need to use a DVD to learn to use a carrier, you’re better off mastering a sling, which you’ll use for longer. But the Red Castle carrier seems to be garnering favor. Does anyone out there use it?? I’d love to hear your thoughts. I’ve got one in testing now, but I haven’t gotten feedback yet.

We also saw the new Whizz stroller, which looks sharp with 16 potential color combinations, but otherwise is very similar to all the other all-terrain strollers on the market.

  1. i am a sales rep for euro-baby – the company who distributes the carrier in the u.s. of course, i feel it’s an outstanding product, or i personally wouldn’t care to sell it. one of the wonderful reasons for a man (sized for both men & women) to use it is that it can be adjusted to carry the baby on your hip – much safer for a man (!!!) than on his chest (front)where babies feet might kick just below the belt! May sound silly – but true.

also, i think anyone could understand how to use it without the dvd, but it does seem to add more of a person touch than just readiing a box.
