Smaller, Lighter, Micralite

Micralite StrollerIn the emerging hybrid category, no stroller has been able to offer the versatility and handling typical of the hybrids while still keeping the weight down under 17 lbs. Now, the arrival of the Micralite will change that. The Micralite is a popular stroller brand in the UK, and now it is going to be distributed here by Eurobaby.

It’s a fully-featured hybrid stroller with large pneumatic rear tires and smaller front wheels. The infant package comes with a bassinet and a car seat clip that will accommodate the Graco or Britax infant car seat. Best of all, it folds to minute umbrella stroller proportions and weighs just 13 lbs. The handling is excellent, and the ergonomics of the handlebars are exceptional.

We are expecting these to arrive in our warehouse within the next week.

  1. I wanted to thank “Micralite” for finally making a stroller that MAKES sense! I’ve been on a discouraging journey trying to shop for the perfect stroller ensuing in the purchases of a plethora of strollers of various shapes and sizes. As a result, my umbrella strollers were too small and rather frustrating for many reasons, but most of all, I couldn’t get them to go straight ahead. It was a constant battle between the wheels and me! They were so very difficult to maneuver. Then, I proceeded to purchase what I call a “Cadillac” stroller. Unfortunately, that was too big, bulky, and difficult to get in and out of the car as well as difficult to open and shut. Finally, I found the Microlite attributable to the best of both worlds – easy to open and easy to maneuver and easy to handle yet sturdy. My Micralite is an invaluable piece of equipment, and I never leave home with out it. My daughter enjoys her rides as does mom, too. I commented to my husband that, “A mom must have designed this stroller!” Thanks for making a product that’s safe, feasible, “mommy friendly,” and looks great to boot!!! My expedition is finally over and I’ve found what I was looking for and more…
