New beginnings

Sorry for the lapse. We were celebrating Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. 5768 will be an exciting year all around, for a number of reasons. First, if you haven’t already heard, we are opening two new stores this fall, both in the Boston area. Our Hingham store will open in October, while our Wellesley store will open in November. We’re a little crazy preparing for this expansion, but it’s a thrilling time.

Also, somewhere in the chaos of the past couple of weeks, my oldest started Kindergarten. For those of you who haven’t been through this yet, it’s a tearjerker. Even for me, and I’m not a crier. At the risk of sounding like my Eastern European grandmother, I just can’t believe how big she is. Where did the time go?

Anyway, I’ll get back to tying up the loose ends from ABC, even though it’s SO last year.

  1. Great Post! I too had an Easern European Grandmother so I know what you mean!!!
Much success with your new stores!
Much luck and joy on this journey 😉

  2. I’m not a crier either, which is why I was surprised when I got choked up going into school to drop off my newly minted 1st grader. I thought crying mothers was for K only! I think it was the excitement and hustle and bustle of the “New Beginnings” that caught me completely off guard.

  3. Man, sounds like I’d better bring tissues along next year.
