Warm Up at the Zoo
Forget the snow and ice for a little while at the Tropical Forest in the Franklin Park Zoo where it’s always 72 degrees. ┬áIn January and February, the zoo hosts a story time every weekend for families. Kids will love to see the gorilla Kiki, her new baby, and the rest of her family, as well as tropical birds, ring-tailed lemurs, a warthog, a pygmy hippo and other animals. Artbarn presents Click Clack Moo
Artbarn’s Split Hares will be at the Coolidge to perform Click Clack Moo, based on the Caldecott Award-winning book by Doreen Cronin. The hilarious tale of plucky barnyard animals who learn to type will give young rebels-in-the-making a taste of the power of peaceful protest and the satisfaction of cooperative give and take. Family Concert
The Cambridge Symphony performs a family concert featuring Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev.
