About the Thule - Urban Glide 2 Stroller 2019 / 2020

Since its conception in 1942, Thule has been committed to bringing families closer to their passion for the outdoors. They sought to make it easier for parents to continue their active and outdoor lifestyles even after having children. It's simple - just bring them along for the ride!

An upgrade from last year's Urban Glide, the Urban Glide 2 Stroller 2019 / 2020 is making it even easier to share your passion with your children. This sleek and lightweight all-terrain stroller is equipped for urban mobility, trekking the trails, and jogging with your little one.

Updates to the Thule Urban Glide 2 include:

  • New color: Who can resist the matte black trend? It brings a sense of sophistication and style that just doesn't get old. The Urban Glide 2 is now available in a black frame and fabric combination.
  • Upgraded canopy: The 2017's mesh sun visor was replaced with UPF50+ materials on both the canopy and sun visor for ultimate sun protection.
  • Hand brake: The all-new twist hand brake was added for increased control on your trail adventures and jogs.
  • Auto fold lock: When you're folding up your Urban Glide 2, the stroller frame will snap shut for a secure fold and easy carry.
  • Reflective strip: A reflective strip was added to the Urban Glide 2 2018's wheels for improved visibility.

All-terrain: Take your children along your favorite trails in the Thule Urban Glide 2. All-wheel suspension coupled with 16" inch rear tires make going over those inevitable bumps a whole lot smoother. The large cargo basket with a zip-top cover ensures none of your essentials are falling out while you're trekking over those bumps.

Jogging: When you're ready to run, the swivel front wheel locks in place for the best jogging experience possible. The ergonomic, adjustable handlebar allows parents of different heights to take it for a spin.

Car seat compatible: With the purchase of an Urban Glide 2 Bassinet or Urban Glide 2 Car Seat adapters, you can use this stroller from day one. The car seat adapters are both Maxi Cosi and Chicco compatible. Once your little one is ready to sit up, they'll enjoy the comfy toddler seat with a 5-point harness and one-hand recline for naptime. Check up on them during that naptime through the peek-a-boo window with magnetic closure. The multi-position canopy with side-ventilation windows ensure they're comfortable throughout the entire family adventure.

It's not recommended that you jog with your child until around 9 months, but we always suggest a quick check with your pediatrician.

Nimble, Sturdy, Very well built, Comfortable to use

The baby straps in very solidly and he likes it!

Seat recline (see below)

I found all the features that Thule advertise to be true, so this review is on top of all that.

- My SkipHop diaper bag fits in the bottom cargo hold.

- The hand brake is super-duper, easy to use, perfect design.

- The stroller stands by itself when folded.

- The handlebar adjusts to fit me, I'm 5'9".

- The front wheel is VERY nimble, and the mudguard works well.

- The baby (6 months) straps in and doesn't move (if you don't want him to), but the straps don't dig into his shoulders...think of the harness like a belt rig for rock climbing without the leg loops, with some shoulder straps attached.

- The baby is HAPPY in it...he'll sit in that thing for 1.5 hours AWAKE and enjoying the ride...and he's squirmy all the time normally, so I'd say it's comfortable for him.

The only thing I wish were different was the seat recline hardware...BUT it's the same on EVERY stroller I've seen, so I can't exactly say it's a con, more like a global design problem with reclining strollers. Someone come up with something better and easier to use please.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
