Play kitchens and pretend food introduce kids to the domestic realm in a manner that’s a bit less messy than playing with the real thing. Your child wants to do everything you do in the kitchen, and with these toys, he can act it out: he can slice up food, sauté some veggies, make a realistic sandwich, or grill up some burgers.
