Explore the world of Wedgits!
We’ve always loved Wedgits, the fabulous geometry toy from Imagability. There’s something compelling about the sleek shapes and angles that makes it difficult for even an adult to put them down after taking a moment to explore. For kids, these unique, imagination-charged building blocks offer lots of creative possibilties that also help them sharpen their spatial reasoning skills. Imagability offers a range of Wedgits sets that cater to different ages and aesthetics.
We recently brought in several of the newer additions to the Wedgits family, including the futuristic-looking “Explorer Pak” and the dazzling “Wedgits on Wheels” set. These are both more comprehensive than the starter sets, and are great for older kids who want to build more complex creations.
The Explorer Pak contains 125 pieces, and lends itself to constructing galactic structures that resemble satellites and spaceships, as well as the super cool “X-orbiter” that Imagability outlines in its detailed instruction booklet. As an added bonus, many of the pieces glow in the dark, giving the final products a luminescent moonlight glow.
Wedgits on Wheels is a 60-piece set that lends itself to children discovering their inner engineer; they can create vehicles with 2, 3, or 4 wheels and multiple configurations. The Wedgits in this set are translucent for some extra artistic flair. Both the Explorer Pak and the Wedgits on Wheels sets can be combined with other Wedgits sets for even more creative possibilties.
So whether your leaning toward the logic of engineering or abstraction in the arts (or perhaps a little bit of both), these Wedgits sets help bring outer space or the Indianapolis Speedway right into your living room, and are definitely worth a try – and another, and another, since they’re awfully hard to put down!
