Mountain Buggy Duet stroller
UPDATE: We have the Mountain Buggy Duet! Purchase your Mountain Buggy Duet stroller at Magic Beans.
I’ve been a fan of the Mountain Buggy Swift since my sister became the first mom in North America to own one at the ABC Show in 2008. Since then, we’ve asked Mountain Buggy over and over again about a double version, and our questions were always met with a coy smile that could only mean one thing – it was coming down the pipeline. And now it’s here — almost.
The Mountain Buggy Duet is a side-by-side double stroller that is just 24″ wide. No, that’s not a typo. The narrowest side-by-side I know of is 28.5 inches, so this is much, much smaller. It’s a full 5″ narrower than the Mountain Buggy Duo, the full-size version. The Duet also takes two car seats in a stadium seating configuration (one offset higher than the other), and it will also take two bassinets. The wheels have 8″ air tires. It handles very nicely (no surprise for any stroller bearing the Mountain Buggy name). It looks like a winner, as long as the seats are wide enough to hold your toddler’s tush. I couldn’t get measurements today, but I hope to have them soon.
I will update tomorrow with more information about price, availability and dimensions.
