Yookidoo who?
International Playthings is introducing a new line of infant/toddler toys called Yookidoo. From what I’ve been told, the toys are designed in Israel and produced in China, but a quick Google search turned up no references outside of International Playthings. So I’m not sure if this is just a very new company, or if it’s an offshoot of International Playthings directly. But that’s neither here nor there.
I really loved their Discovery Dome, from the pictures I’ve seen. It’s sort of like a post-Gymini play structure for the 12-months-and-over set. It’s brimming with activities, like shape sorting and ball play, and it’s big enough to hold a couple of kids, encouraging the beginnings of cooperative play. It’s quick to set up and take down, and it’s very lightweight. I can’t wait to see this in person at Toy Fair. The countdown is on…
