If you’ve met me, you may know I’m kind of the Captain of the Crunch. I always shop local, organic, and sustainable, especially food and cosmetic-wise. I prefer to know who made my product when, where, and how, and my Imaginary Fantasy It’ll-Probably-Happen-One-Day Baby Registry is a reflection of that.
That means a Bugaboo Cameleon, for their factory that has fair working conditions for all of their employees, Monte Design, for their furniture hand-made by master craftsmen, and of course, Nuna for their Oeko-Tex Certified fabrics. Not to mention a plethora of Aden and Anais, Honest Company, and lots of environmentally conscious toys.

STROLLER: Bugaboo Donkey Twin Stroller
CAR SEAT: Nuna Pipa Infant Car Seat
Being a twin myself, I focused on building my registry around items that would make the parents’ lives much less cumbersome. I chose a Bugaboo Donkey stroller for its strength, versatility and storage space, which is much needed when one needs twice the toys and accessories.
The Nuna Pipa, our lightest car seat, is ideal for when one must carry around two babies, and makes the perfect double travel system when it can snap in and out of the Donkey with ease. I also choose the Stokke Sleepi Bassinet and the Tripp Trapp High Chair, both of which I highly recommend when looking for baby furniture that is built to last for years and years.
Some other brands that I chose to highlight include Boon, Aden and Anais, and Nook. Boon products have always been some of my favorites, especially the Soak 3-stage bath tub and the Lawn drying rack. Aden and Anais’ swaddles and fabrics are super soft, breathable, and keep the little ones cozy without overheating them. Nook’s pebble design on their Niche Nursing Pillow and the Lilypad Playmat are also designed to let air travel through the crevices and won’t overheat the infants, and are also made with organic, clean materials. All these products are ideal to take the extra stress out of having two babies so the parents can focus on the fun!

STROLLER: UPPAbaby Vista Stroller, UPPAbaby G-Luxe Umbrella Stroller
CAR SEAT: UPPAbaby MESA Infant Car Seat, Diono Rainier Convertible and Booster Car Seat
My thought on creating a baby registry was that I wanted to register for things that would be needed during baby’s first year of life, beyond the newborn stage.
So I included things needed right after birth like an infant car seat and standard stroller, but also items that many parents need after several months, like a convertible car seat and an umbrella stroller. I also made sure to add multiples of frequently used (and always handy!) items like bibs, burp cloths, and washcloths so new parents always have fresh ones on hand.

STROLLER: Nuna Mixx Stroller, BabyZen YoYo 6+ Stroller
CAR SEAT: Nuna Pipa Infant Car Seat, Clek Foonf Convertible Car Seat
Admittedly, looks featured into my choices a LOT – aside from their amazing safety technology, I couldn’t say no to a Clek Foonf in Tokidoki patterns. My choice of the Mixx and the Pipa is based entirely on experience, though: I fell in love with them when I got to help a friend on her stroller test drive a few months ago.
Oh, and: if you’re building your baby registry entirely online and not in our stores (and if you live in New England, don’t skip the store visit! You’ll be so glad you came to see us, seriously), use our Quick-Add Baby Registry tool. It’s SO handy, and will help you feel like you’ve got all of your bases covered. At the very least, it means you can create a first draft of your registry in about ten minutes, and then you’ll have a simple online list to check and doublecheck. I love it!
